Dr. John DeGarmo knows what it is like, firsthand, to work with today's students,teachers, and schools. Dr. John has worked in school systems for over twenty years, in both the United States and in Australia. Dr. John has taught at the high school level teaching History, English, and Drama, served as a director at a Freshman Academy, worked as a middle and high school Media Specialist, and has served in other educational roles, as well. Dr. John has an Ed.D. in Educational Administration. He is also the author of the highly acclaimed Helping Foster Children In School: A Guide for Foster Parents, Social Workers, and Teachers. |
Not only that, Dr. John has also been a foster and adoptive parent to over 60 children. He knows, better than anyone else, the many unique challenges that children in need struggle with and face in today's classroom. Along with this, Dr. John also knows wall about the many stresses, challenges, and responsibilities that today's teachers also face.
